  • New Season Comes Closer!

    02 August 2014

Rehearsals for our opening show of the Season are now well under way. Abigail’s Party opens on the 20th October and it is anticipated that tickets will be released on the 10th September. Please see “Ticket Availability” on the “What’s On” page for details. Our second show of the Season is now fixed, Bob Beale having kindly agreed to direct Neighbourhood Watch by Alan Ayckbourn. First performed in 2011 this is one of Ayckbourn’s more recent works not long released for amateur production. More details will be available nearer the production date.

On a more sombre note we are sad to announce the passing of Peggy Jones on the 1st August. Peggy along with her late husband Alan was a staunch supporter of NLT and could often be found pitching in to help with all manner of tasks. Even in her later years she was a regular participant in Club events and will be much missed. Our thoughts and sympathy go to her family.

In other news, a reminder to Associates who have not yet renewed that you need to do so ahead of the new Season starting and if you have mislaid your renewal form one can be downloaded from the membership page….click Read More and/or the title to see the full post)
