  • Kate McNab and John Telfer Success!

    01 April 2017

Oh what a night! As an addition to the 2016/2017 Season NLT was pleased to welcome back Kate McNab together with John Telfer. This fantastic two-hander musical event proved a real hit with the audience and although a departure from our usual shows was undoubtedly a great success. We look forward to seeing them both at NLT again soon.

Inevitably our attention now turns to NLT’s third production. The final Show of the Season (22nd – 27th May 2017) is Life and Beth by Alan Ayckbourn, to be directed by Robin Richards. Dating from 2008 the play features recently widowed Beth, hosting her first family Christmas since her husband’s Gordon’s death. However, a visit and prayer from the local vicar brings an unwelcome and unexpected Christmas visitor to the house. Please see the “What’s On” page for more details and also look out for details of ticket availability in due course.

In Club news there are two dates for your diary. The 22nd April sees another Skittles Evening at the Grove, kindly organised by Connie and Barrie Walker and on the 24th June Peter Newman returns with another of his famous quizzes. Also we are pleased to announce that on certain days the Theatre will be open for working parties and for people to drop in if they are free. Details of all events are on the NLT events page. Also, for those Associates who wish to renew their membership for the 2017/2018 Season and likewise for those of our audience who would like to become Associates the 2017/2018 renewal form is available to download from the membership page………(click Read More and/or the title to see the full post)
